Bonus Terms Explained
Casino bonus jargon can be confusing. Here's a plain-English decoder for the most
common terms you'll encounter at playtame and other online casinos in the Philippines.
💰 Wagering Requirement / Rollover
This is the number of times you must bet the bonus amount (or bonus + deposit) before
you can withdraw any winnings derived from that bonus. The higher the multiplier,
the harder it is to cash out.
Example: You receive a ₱1,000 bonus with a 20x wagering requirement. You must place
total bets of ₱20,000 (₱1,000 × 20) before withdrawing bonus-related winnings.
🚫 Maximum Bet During Bonus
While using bonus funds, most casinos cap your bet per round or per game. Placing
bets above this limit can result in bonus cancellation and voided winnings — so
always check this before spinning or betting.
Example: A bonus may restrict bets to ₱250 per spin when bonus funds are active.
Placing a ₱500 single-round bet risks disqualifying the entire bonus.
🎮 Game Contribution Rate
Not every game contributes equally to clearing your wagering requirement. Slots
typically contribute 100% — meaning every peso bet counts in full. Table games like
blackjack or baccarat may only count 10–20%, so they take much longer to clear.
Example: ₱1,000 bet on a slot = ₱1,000 wagering cleared. ₱1,000 bet on blackjack
at 10% contribution = only ₱100 counted toward your rollover target.
⏳ Bonus Expiry
Bonuses don't last forever. There's typically a 7, 14, or 30-day window to use and
clear your bonus from the moment it is credited. If you miss the deadline, the bonus
and any attached winnings are forfeited automatically.
Example: A ₱500 welcome bonus granted on January 1 with a 14-day expiry must be
fully rolled over by January 15, otherwise it's removed from your account.
📌 Sticky vs Non-Sticky Bonus
A sticky bonus stays in your account during play but cannot be withdrawn — only the
winnings generated by it can be cashed out. A non-sticky bonus can sometimes be
withdrawn after you meet requirements, along with winnings.
Example: You have a sticky ₱1,000 bonus. You win ₱3,000 while using it. You can
withdraw ₱3,000 in winnings, but the ₱1,000 bonus balance disappears on cashout.
💸 Maximum Cash-Out Limit
Even if you win big using bonus funds, many promotions cap the total amount you can
withdraw from bonus-derived winnings. This is called the max cash-out or max
withdrawal cap and is almost always stated in the promotion's T&C.
Example: A bonus with a ₱5,000 max cash-out means even if you turn ₱1,000 into
₱50,000 using bonus funds, you can only withdraw ₱5,000 of that amount.
Practical tip:
Always read the full Terms & Conditions before claiming any bonus.
Pay particular attention to wagering requirements, game restrictions, time limits,
and max cash-out rules — these four factors determine whether a bonus is genuinely
worth claiming.
